Loving this day!

Greetings Everyone!

May has it been a long, long time since I've posted anything,  so much has happen this last year.  I am working like a crazy person!  Six, Seven days a week!  Crazy!  And now it's time to slow down...........2012 is almost over and I am looking forward to all my wishes and dreams coming true.

I'll be posting some new photos of my newest work...........embracing the artist within!  I've taken the day off work and loving just being at home doing what I want to do.  Happy Monday to you!  :o)

Embracing the Artist Within

Holy Cow! It's been a long time since I've blogged! My part time job is taking a lot more time than I ever dreamed it would, and it is time for me to get back to where I need to be with my art........Embracing the Artist Within!!

So now I've got this wild idea, which I always seem to have so many! I found this amazing cabin in No. Georgia that would be perfect for me and my clay, it has a basement! OMG!! Sooooooo perfect...........it would be wonderful to have the space to spread out and really set up an honest to goodness studio for myself. I could still keep my condo in Atlanta, which I will need a place to stay when I come into town, to work and have a place for Affie. So perfect! And the address is amazing 440........which equals 8 in numerology, which equals money! Yummmmy!

Time to get ready for 2012!

2011

Happy New Year!!

Holy Cow it is 2011!! How did this happen?? Where did all this time go? I am always amazed at how fast time goes but yet sometimes it seems to stand still. 2010 was an incredible year for me, my part time job kept me crazy busy and just trying to create balance in my life seemed to be number one on my list. And today, January 4th, 2011, the solar new moon eclipse, is and has been the perfect day, peaceful, joyful and easy. Got to have lunch with a dear friend and go to my favorite store.......Daven's Ceramics and pick up my new pieces..............more tree spirits. So I have embraced my artistic spirit today and oh! do I love that!! The weather is perfect to.............beautiful sunset today, just perfect. I'm planning to create more days like this for myself, just enjoying the moment.............so sweet!

So here's wishing all of you the most perfect, and fabulous 2011 wishing all of your dreams coming true!!

Good Morning everyone...................

It's an absolutely beautiful day here in Atlanta, flowers are blooming, trees are turning green almost over night, warm temps, just perfect.

It's been a very busy time for me these last several months. Started a new job and trying to create balance in my life, you know getting everything done that you want to get done, not enough hours in the day sort of thing, but still happy to be doing what I do. Love it.

Embracing that artistic soul again.................oh, how I've missed her! Thinking about taking a 5 day workshop with Debra Fritts, my all time favorite teacher. She is absolutely amazing! Her work is outstanding, her inspiration is priceless, and my clay pieces took on a whole new energy of their own when I started taking classes with Debra. How wonderful to have someone in your life that can inspire you to such a level. www.debrafritts.net

My how time flys..............here it is Christmas already! Happy Holidays everyone!! It has been a very busy time for me lately, starting a new part time job, wanting to be busier and wow, here I am, got exactly what I wanted!! What is that saying "be careful what you ask for"!! Love it, getting lots of things done, Christmas cards almost ready, yes, I love to send cards and handwritten ones, guess I'm just that old fashion girl................have a little shopping to do and I want to do a little baking, get into the spirit of it all.

So appreciative of my life, my children, grandbabies, all these fabulous people in my life, it just gets better and better.

It is way too hot for me today........I need to walk Affie, but I don't want to melt either!

Clay work is coming along nicely, angels are fabulous, improving all the time on a rapid pace.

I'm ready to move, ready to create an amazing, creative, huge, huge, huge space!! An Art Gallery celebrating local artists, my own big, big, big studio, classes in healing with clay, children's classes, a lovely living space all rolled into the same space, including the massage studio, the library, meditation room, guest rooms,.......... so perfect. I can see it all in my head, now for the manifesting of it all.............

I continue to be amazed at how fast my days fly by. Summer is now here, all the kids are out of school, ready for the pools to be ready and the fun to begin. I seem to be focused on organizing my small space, I love how things are progressing along, thank goodness for IKEA!! I think this is the first time in my life that I really feel like I have it all together..........Holy cow, did I really say that??!!! I love how I've been able to make my space work for me, but now I am really ready to move, move to a new, bigger home. I want that big, beautiful art studio, to spread out when I do my clay, lots of space for drying my pieces, lots of bags of clay all around. A big backyard for Affie to run in, a garden, fresh veggies right out my back door. Lots of space for family and friends to spend the night, and a huge kitchen, for great meals to be served and midnight snacks to be enjoyed. Heaven...........
